Audrey D. Henderson

Audrey D. Henderson, 89, a long-time Sylvania, Ohio resident, passed away at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg campus, Thursday, May 7, 2026. She was born April 19, 1937, to parents Jessie Lee and Elizabeth (Williams) Vestal. Audrey was employed for more than 25 years with the Dura Corporation before retiring in 1991.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Tracy) Yeager; and son Roy C. Jr. (Tina) Henderson; grandchildren Zachary (Brandi), Eric, Martika (Thomas), and Michael (Kerstyn); 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of more than 47 years Roy C. Henderson Sr. and brothers Joe Paul and James Vestal.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, Ohio, Tuesday May 12, 2026, from 11:00am until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00pm, officiant Gloria Jones. Audrey will be laid to rest beside Roy Sr. at Toledo Memorial Park. Audrey loved when family came over to visit and celebrate the holidays. She enjoyed working in her yard during the warm months. The joke always was her yard looked like it had been vacuumed. In the colder months, she did a lot of reading and puzzles. She was always sassy and everything had to go her way. Many of us used to tease her as the evil gnome as she got shorter with age. Audrey will be dearly missed by the family.
