Alice Jean Albring, 95, passed away June 8, 2022, at Blissfield Place. She was born April 24, 1927, in Toledo, OH, to parents Floyd and Pauline (Chisholm) Van Skiver. Alice lived most of her life in Lambertville, MI. She enjoyed a long and interesting life. Alice loved all animals especially horses and dogs. She was skilled at knitting, sewing, quilting, doll making, even learned to carve wood figures later in life, and especially enjoyed raising many horses over the years.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Wayne) Smith and Martha (John Anderson) Albring; sons, William (Vicky) and Gary (Kathie) Albring; grandchildren, Lisa, Amy, Laura, Rachael, Leslie, and Kim; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Neil Albring who passed in 2012.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Tuesday, June 14th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 15th at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest beside Neil at Whiteford Union Cemetery, Ottawa Lake, MI.
