Albert Darrol Whitt

Albert D. Whitt, 95, of Pemberville, OH, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Otterbein Senior Life.

He was born November 8, 1930, in the mountains of West Virginia to parents Doan N. and Louella (Conner) Whitt, and they preceded him in death. To his family he was known as Darrol, everyone else called him Al. He was employed for more than 32 years with Dana before retiring.

Albert was proud to have served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Thomas) Strohbeck; son Mark (Cynthia) Whitt; brother William Whitt; grandchildren Monica (Scott) Lebsack, Leslie (Hane) Higgins, Renee (Kansei) Umeno, Sarah (Chris) Davis, and Conner and Kari Whitt.

Family and friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00am until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 11:00am. Pastor Joanie Schilling of the Maumee United Methodist Church officiating. At the conclusion of the service Albert will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
