Albert G. Norman

Albert G. Norman, 91, of Maumee, OH, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 14, 2024.

Al was born in Toledo, OH to John and Edith Norman on October 30, 1932. He married Marilyn K. Willhardt on March 2, 1957, at Dorr Street Church of God, Toledo, OH. They spent 62 wonderful years together, until her passing in 2018. He served as deacon and Sunday School teacher at Grace Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church, both of Toledo, OH. Later he served as Pastor of Inner City Baptist Church of Toledo, OH for 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Milton, Melvin, Dale and Lester. He is survived by his sons Jeff and Mark (Tamela) Norman, grandchildren Micah (Leanna Franklin) Norman, Joanna (Joshua) Sandiford, and Josiah (Katlyn) Norman. He leaves behind 2 great grandchildren, Jonas Sandiford and Trace Norman.

An open visitation with family will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23rd at Bethany Baptist Church, 14070 Bailey Rd, Grand Rapids, OH. A memorial celebration of his life and ministry will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Coley officiating.
