Thomas Timmins Sr. Obituary

Thomas L. Timmins, Sr., 94, of Sylvania, OH passed on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Sunset Village in Sylvania. He was born November 12, 1923 in Detroit, MI to William and Lenore (Schmidt) Timmins. He married Carol Dickens in 1944 who passed away in 2006.

Thomas worked for 42 years in the family business, Timmins Interior Furnishings, along side his wife and children. He served in the Coast Guard for 2 ½ years as a pharmacist’s mate in Cleveland, OH. Thomas enjoyed fishing and putzing around the house fixing things. Thomas was a great man with a huge heart and a big smile for everyone. His life was a gift to his family and he will be truly missed but the pain we feel expresses the love we had for him.

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas, Jr. (Rosie); grandchildren, Christina (Matt) Arndt, Tracy (Todd) Momany, Todd (Barrie) Timmins and Michael (Clari) Timmins; great grandchildren, Erin and Kira Momany, Katrina and Erika Arndt, Logan and Connor Timmins. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and daughter Sharon.

There will be no visitation or service. The family suggest memorials to NWO Hospice. Professional services were provided by Reeb Funeral Home.
