Twas the morning of Christmas. . .and all thru Hospice
Not a creature was stirring except the nurses.
Dr. Bob laid in his bed. . .with visions of his life dancing in his head.
Santa had finished up his time lapsed evening of deliveries.
His sleigh empty so on with his additional duties!
You see Santa has an additional job. . .the Angels use him and with his sleigh to transport loved ones on Christmas morning to meet again with their beloveds!
It was Dr. Bob's turn for his pick up. . .Santa knowing full well he hated being late for a 'gig'. . .He showed up at 2AM for Dr. Bob's trip to the show. . .As they arrived at their destination - Dr. Bob with Trombone in hand. . .There in the distance stood Mary Lou and Patrick waiting for him hand in hand!
Every life should have a happy ending!
With Love to the Family - Jan Dailey-Minlionica

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing....I have many wonderful memories playing with him at Ragtime Rick's in Toledo; he was always warm and welcoming (and an amazing trumpeter!). The last time I saw him was at Sodbuster's in Sylvania last year, we had a nice chat catching up on old times. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
