Robert Kelly Obituary

Robert John Kelly, 80, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 8, 1938 in Delta, OH, to Charles and Mabel (Metcalf) Kelly. Robert married Evelyn Garner in 1959 and together they raised three children. He was a Draftsman and worked for over 25 years at Bel-Kur, Inc. as a tool designer, retiring in 2007. Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, working on his tractors and was a huge genealogy buff.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Kelly; children, Susan (Robert) Nagley; Darlene Quintanilla; Robert (Carrie) Kelly; grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Fuller; Joseph and Christopher Kelly; Alexandra Nagley; great grandchild, Brynn Fuller; siblings, Deann (George) Pierce; Martin (Patty) Kelly.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister Darlene Kelly.

Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

Those wishing to give a memorial are asked to consider The American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
