Patricia A (Hogan) Buehrer

Patricia A. Buehrer, age 79, passed away peacefully Friday, November 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family after enduring a debilitating lengthy illness.  She was born April 10, 1939, to Arthur and Alberta “Toots” (Sullivan) Hogan in Toledo, Ohio.  She was raised in West Toledo and attended St. Agnes Catholic Grade School and graduated in 1957 from Central Catholic High School where she met the love of her life, James E. Buehrer.  They have been married for 58 years.  

Pat spent 23 years working as a school secretary for Notre Dame Academy, retiring in 2001.  Pat has been a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 48 years.  She was a C.K. Girl Scout leader for 6 years, a past member of the adult choir, and a past Altar Rosary Society President.    

Pat was very proud of her Irish-American heritage and took her dream trip to Ireland with her two sisters.  She spoke often of the memories of that trip!  Pat was an avid fan of the University of Michigan Football team, and she and her husband, Jim, had season tickets for many years.  Game-day tailgating on the golf course with family and friends was filled with special lifelong memories.  

 Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She attended every ceremony, sporting event, and school activity of theirs that she could, no matter how far away.  

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Jim Buehrer; children, Diane (Jeff) Kovacs, David (Danielle), Nancy (Mike) Osborne and Mary Pat ( Mark ) Anderson; Grandchildren, Andrea (Bill) Donatone, Kevin Kovacs; Noah Buehrer; Rachael (Abram) Glas, Jacob (Julie) Osborne, Andrew (Katelyn) Osborne, Nathaniel (Rendi) Osborne, Matthew Osborne; Mackenzie (John) Marciniak, and Megan Anderson;  great-grandchildren Abram and Evelyn Glas, Henry Osborne, Emma, Liam, Oliver Osborne, and three on the way; beloved sisters Rosemary (Jerry) Boy, and Catherine (Mike) Boyer; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and; their many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Alberta Hogan.  

Friends may visit at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania, Ohio, on Monday, November 26th from 5-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 27th at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Academy, Central Catholic High School or to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition, 9935-D Rea Road, #212, Charlotte, NC 28277 or online at www.multiplesystematrophy.org.  Online condolences to
