Lucille Anstead Dibert, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio, passed at Sunset House on May 27, 2018. She was born on a farm near Elmore, Ohio to Clarence and Eva Anstead. Lucille was married to Clair Dibert for 61 loving years, living in Elmore and Temperance Michigan. Lucille was a graduate of Harris-Elmore school. In addition to raising a family, she worked as a teacher’s aide at the elementary school. She was an active member of the United Methodist church in Elmore and Sylvania.
Lucille enjoyed flower gardening as well as sewing, crafting and painting and was active in her church bazaars for many years.
Lucille is survived by her daughter Anne (Bob) Overmyer, sons, Carl (Donna) Dibert, and Philip (Jan) Dibert as well as 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Clair, her sister Nelda Kroos, and her brother Paul Anstead.
The funeral service will be at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, OH, on Thursday May 31, at 12:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior. A private burial will follow the service at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sylvania First United Methodist Church.
