Luann Dennis Antoszewski

Luann Antoszewski, 63, of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Ebeid Hospice.  She was born January 29, 1956 in Toledo to James and Rita (Dennis). She was preceded in death by her parents.   Luann graduated from Mercy Hospital as a Registered Nurse.  She worked at Mercy Hospital for many years and then as a dialysis nurse.  She later worked at Medical Mutual.  Luann met her wife, Juliana, at the Michigan Women's Music Festival in August 2001.  They were married August 2009 in Iowa City.

Luann was an avid reader. She volunteered at the local feminist bookstore, People Called Women.  She enjoyed playing the guitar and played at Little Flower Catholic church for several years.  Luann was full of joy and loved being and making music with other people. She played with a small group of women at People Called Women, in an informal group aptly named 'Girls with Guitars.'  Luann is survived by her wife, Juliana Jackson; sister, Amy (Andrew), brothers, Nick (Cathy), Bill (Cheryl), Jaimie (Sandy); 6 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main St., Sylvania, OH where the funeral service will be Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11a.m.   Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com
