Linda "Lin" Ann Lorenz

Linda (Lin) Ann Lorenz quietly transitioned to heaven the afternoon of November 12, 2019 surrounded by the love and support of her family.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 15, 1938 to LJ Laux and Ruth Elizabeth Laux (Siegmann) (both preceded her in death).  She has one brother Richard Alan Laux and one sister Elizabeth Frances Laux who preceded her in death.  She wed her former husband, Russell Lawrence Tabbert, and had two children:  Kirt Lawrence Tabbert (Susan) and Kathy Lin (Tabbert) Kessler.  On June 22, 1968 she married her current husband, Erwin (Erv) Lorenz who had three children:  Linda Williams (Gary), Annette Lucille Loar (Terry), and Donald Erwin Lorenz (Mary).  Linda has nine grandchildren:  Eric Williams (Abby), Shara Williams, Jay Lorenz (Alyssa), Jeffery Lorenz (Journey), Ryan Tabbert (Luisa), Colin Tabbert (Kelsie), Jason Van Dorn (Jessy), Courtney Kessler, and Cody Kessler.  She has ten great grandchildren.  She was a lifetime Toledo resident who graduated from Burnham High School in 1955.  She worked at a number of different companies in the Toledo area including First Federal, Associated Grocers, and Hershey’s.  She and Erv traveled extensively throughout United States visiting family and State and National parks.  Later in life, once Erv retired, they cruised extensively both from the United States and foreign ports.  Some of her favorite past-times were reading, knitting and watching her great grandchildren play.  Please come to celebrate the life of this amazing lady.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Friends of the Library (TLCPL) or a charity of your choice.  A special thank-you to the Elizabeth Scott Community for taking such good care of her.
