John "Jack" Anthony Tressler

John (“Jack”) A. Tressler, of Sylvania Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family.  He was born October 23, 1932 in Toledo, OH to parents Clifford and Catherine Tressler.  Jack was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, Toledo.  He retired from Libbey Owens Ford after 34 years as a Millwright.  He also served in the United States Air Force as a Military Police.  He is survived by daughters Johnna (Brian) Amborski and Rocky Challen; son Gary (Lisa); grandchildren Danielle Salisbury, Cory (Jodi), McKenzie, Brandi (James) Shearer, Justin, Lucas, Leah, Crystal; great-grandchildren Xavier, Kyla and Eli.  Jack was preceded in death by his wife Mary of 58 years and his son Mark.  Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 4-8 PM, where Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 19, 2018 at 1 PM, interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Those wishing to offer memorials in Jack’s memory are asked to consider Nature’s Nursery 7790 Co Rd 152, Whitehouse, OH 43571.
