John "Jack" H Blausey

John H. “Jack” Blausey age 88, of Sylvania, OH passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017. He was one of 4 children born to Walter and Frances (Thorworth) Blausey of Woodville, OH. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanne Brocke and Anne Chambers, his brother Bill; and just recently by his own beloved wife Harriet.
John enjoyed his work for many years in the family business, W.H. Blausey, Inc. He also loved the outdoors, boating, flying, even just mowing the lawn. Many times he relaxed by playing piano or his accordion. He has always been known for his generous spirit and for helping those in need.
John was a member of the Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. He looked forward to Jehovah God’s promise of the resurrection. He will surely be missed by all of his friends and family.
John is survived by his stepchildren Cheryl, Walter (Annie), grandchildren Brent (Jenny), Tshona, Kent, Aaron (Skye), Nohealani (James), 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, Saturday, November 11, 2017 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with the service following at 1:00 PM. The family requests no flowers with contributions going to JW.org.
