I only met Bud last year, he was one of our regulars at The Wendy's on Central by Meijers. He was always so nice, made sure he said hi to everyone. All the employees knew him. He was a joy to know and he will be missed by his friends at Wendy's!

Dear Melanie, John & Donna:

I just found out about the death of your father this morning! I am so sorry that we missed the memorial service yesterday.

I have many found memories of your father as my piano teacher and a family friend! My parents, Curt and Jo, and your parents did many things socially and they hand some great times together!

Life gets so busy over the years and because of raising a family, working and just maintaining our lives, we lose touch with our friends and even family members. We don't mean for this to happen but it is okay because it is "life!" It is the fond memories that count.

Your father was a wonderful and talented man and I know a great father and grandfather! Continue to live your lives with love and kindness and enjoy wonderful times with your family and friends. Your father will always be guiding and watching over you. He wants you to live your lives happy and with enthusiasm for the wonderful things that life has to offer, in his memory and how he would be living his life!

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love to all of you!
Carol, Ryan Curtis (my son) and Mrs. Dorfmeyer

I was sorry to read of Bud's passing. I worked at a music store where the staff
was always happy to see Bud's smiling face enter the door and we knew we
would have a friendly exchange and a few laughs. His presence and talent were
a blessing to Toledo's music community. My condolences to his family.

Our condolences for the passing of your father. We enjoyed Bud when he came to teach piano lessons to our daughter. We later had him play piano for our Christmas parties. He was such a charismatic gentleman and such a wonderful pianist!!

Dear John, Melanie and family, please know our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all. Your father enriched so many lives and leaves a wonderful legacy. No matter how old your father or how much he may have depended on you, he will remain a solid foundation for the strength and guidance he provided. With Bud's passing, that foundation does not crumble but is enhanced by you and your family. "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
