Joanne Marian (Glesmer) Gwozdz

Joanne M. Gwozdz, 87, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Friday April 6, 2018, at Heartland Promedica.

She was born August 13, 1930, in Toledo, to parents Nicholas and Catherine (Urbanowski) Glesmer.

Joanne loved her grandchildren, she was always there when needed and never missed an event where they participated. She was an avid gardener and loved feeding and caring for all of God’s Creatures.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband of more than 66 years, Frank Gwozdz; son Steve (Suzanne) Gwozdz; grandchildren Zoe, Zachary, and Mackenzie; daughter in law Christine Gwozdz; and long time special friend Esther Klocinski. She was proceeded in death by her parents and son, Kevin Gwozdz.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday April 12th from 5 – 8 PM.
