Gerald L Davis

Gerald l. Davis, 81, of Holland, Ohio passed away Thursday October 5, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Adrian, MI to Leonard and Marguerite (Schmidt).

Gerald was an Army veteran serving from 1958-1964. He was employed by Diamond Crystal for 22 years, retiring in 2003 as a plant manager. He was a title runner for ABC Auto Auctuon for 13 years. Gerald was an avid outdoorsman which included fishing in the Irish Hills, camping at Sunny’s Campground and attending racing events at Oakshade Raceway.  He was a passionate Michigan fan and shared this with family.  Gerald loved dogs especially, his grand-dogs.

Gerald is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Davis; sons, Jerry and Greg (Tammy); step-daughter, Janell; step-son, Barry; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Nichole Kristi, Tyler, Monica, Patrick, Jennifer, and Justin; 14 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda and his brother Ronald.

Family and friends may visit at the Reeb Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 3pm until 8pm, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11am.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.  Contributions may be given to Human Ohio or Planned Pethood of Toledo.
