Doris May (Felt) Koepfer

Doris M. Koepfer, age 93, of Holland, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the residence of her daughter, Shirley Hosler.  She was one of 3 children to George and Mary Felt   Doris, in her younger years worked at several factories before becoming a dedicated mother and homemaker.  She loved the outdoors and got a lot of joy doing yard work planting flowers and decorating the yard.  She would frequently be found riding her bike up and down the lane at her previous home on Bancroft Street. She has spent the last 4 years living with and being cared for by her  daughter and son-in-law.   For 30 plus years she owned a cottage at Round Lake and spent many hours in the water swimming, skiing and sunbathing. She loved to exercise and do yoga. .  Most of all she loved her family and was a great mother, grandmother, and GG.   Left to cherish her memory, Daughter Shirley (Calvin) Hosler; grandchildren, Tracy (Matthew) Wirick, Tammy (James) Stankard, Calvin Hosler, Jr; great grandchildren, Kaitee, Jacob, Abby, Zackary, Alexandra, Anna, Matthew Jr., and Josh.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Emanuel, parents, sister Eleanor Downing and brother Norman Felt.  Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, Monday, March 19, 2018 from 3-8:00 P.M. where the funeral service will be held, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Marygrove Cemetery, Raab Road.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Great Lakes Caring Hospice especially Joanne, RN.
