Donna M. (Klopfenstein) Lowe

Donna M. Lowe, 86, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. Donna was born September 20, 1932 in Toledo, to parents James and Laura (Kessler) Klopfenstein. She was employed as a switchboard operator with Bostwick-Braun for many years before retiring in 1998. Donna was a long and active member of the Central Park Congregational Church. In her younger years she served as both a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She was an accomplished baker, and enjoyed entering radio contests, once winning a car.

Donna is survived by her children Barbara Harrison, Susan (Santos) Avila, Bruce (Karen) Lowe, Bonnie (Don Klotz) Tresnan, and Sandra (Duane) Chittum; grandchildren Troy, Steve, Tammy, Andrew, Erica, Nerissa, Lori, Joe, Rebecca, and Nicole; 11 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and longtime special friends Olive, Joanne, Louise, Sherry, Florence, Darlene, Carolyn, Elinor, Marlene, Catherine, Barbara and Diane. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ted M. Lowe, who passed in 2004, sister Carol Yeager, son-in-law Charles “Bud” Harrison and life long friend Shirley.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, from 4 – 9 PM, where Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM. Saturday.
