Donald Edward Prange

Donald E. Prange, 87 of Ottawa Lake, MI passed away Friday, June 9, 2017.  He was born in Toledo, OH., on October 2, 1929 to Chester and Beatrice Prange.  Don graduated from Whitmer High School, he served in the US Army during the Korean War.  After being discharged, he married Pat West.  Don started his construction business 4 Square Builders with George Henry for 40 years.  He enjoyed wood working, stain glass making, camping and fishing, he was a member of the Trilby Volunteer Fire Department.

Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, sons, Dennis (Irene), Mark (Sherri), Greg (Wendy), Jeff (Kathy), Steve (Tricia) and special son Dan Kramer, grandchildren, Crystal (Brad), Matthew (Kaleigh), Megan (Kyle), Cassie, Jessica, Kayla, Kelsey, Kristen, Zach, Tyler, Brandon, Amber, Mackenzie, and Madelyn., 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Dylan, and sister, Mary Lou Geiser.

Friends may gather at the Reeb Funeral Home on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 3-8:00 P.M. where funeral services will be held Monday at 12:30 P.M. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests tributes in the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
