Jeffrey "Jeff" Lee Langenderfer

Jeffrey Lee Langenderfer, 71, of Oregon, OH, passed away Monday evening April 8, 2024, at Bay Park Hospital. Jeff was born in Toledo, OH, November 30, 1952, to parents Francis and Mary Claire (Gallup) Langenderfer. He retired from the Detroit Stoker Company after 30 plus years of service. Jeff was proud to have served with the Ohio Army National Guard and as a member of the Richfield Township Volunteer Fire Department in Berkey, OH. He was an avid golfer and was a loyal fan of the Detroit Tigers, Toledo Mud Hens, and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Jeff also enjoyed time spent with family camping or vacationing in Mexico. Jeff is survived by his children Eric (Nicole) Langenderfer, James (Lisa)  langenderfer, Kristen (Brett) McClain, and Aaron Langenderfer; grandchildren Tyler, Evan, Madelyn, Emma, Jaxon, Margot, and James “Jed”; sisters Mary Jo (Robert) Hall and Jill (Ricky) Herr. He was proceeded in death by his parents and loving wife Darlene (Basquez) Langenderfer in 2014.

Visitation will be held at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Monday, April 15, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The Richfield Township Volunteer Fire Department will conduct services at the funeral home Monday evening at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania, Tuesday, April 16th at 10:00am. At the conclusion of Mass, Jeff will be laid to rest beside Darlene at Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing to offer memorials, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
