To all members of the Roger J. Baker family - it is with the most sincere sympathy that we feel such sadness to acknowledge our dear friend and dentist's passing. It's been well over 40 years that both of us and both of our sons have known Dr. Baker and enjoyed the pleasure of his wonderful personality and sense of humor and, of course, his services as an awesome professional dentist. We will truly miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Roger, and your family, on the loss of your Dad. He was a special person and a wonderful caregiver. The obituary captured his personality and the warmth my family and I experienced as his patients over the years. May he Rest In Peace. Sincerely, Kay Bahna

Hey, Bubby. So much to recall, so little space. Our home in Lathrup. Dad. Mom. Nanna. Rusty our Cocker Spaniel and Amos, our pet crow. Long Lake. Fishing. Mom’s signature chocolate cake and Dad’s great carpentry. Nanna’s wonderful pies. Playing rummy and bridge with Mom and Dad. Enjoying movies together. Just hanging out. Our Friday evening “discussions”. Graduations. Weddings. Kids. Grandkids and great grandkids. I love you and miss you already. See you later.

Linda (Rent-a-Dean)..We go back to being friends from DeVilbiss High School and The University of Toledo.
Our family did business with the Baker family at Toledo Oxygen.
Our children were friends of your children.
We have shared many many good and some sad times over all these years.
I enjoyed the lunches with the Dentist's: Baker, Murphy, McGowan, Lengel and many who's names I can't remember. (I was also a DDS...dealer in damaged steel).
Please let Ginny and Little Rog know that I am thinking of them (only a bad cold) kept me away from the service today.
Contact me when ever your time permits.

I was saddened to have read of Dr. Baker's passing. He was our family of 10 first dentist. We were patients of his for many years and now thru his son Roger.
I remember him fondly because of his kindness and the way he made you feel comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Baker would always finish his work with a smile and a chant of super duper!
He had left such an impression and impact on both my brother, Stephen(Mike) and myself to pursue dental careers. My brother is a Dentist and myself a Registered Dental Hygienist. He will always hold a special place in all our hearts and memory.
Our family extends their sympathy and prayers to all of you in rememberance of a kind and remarkable man. Thank you Dr. Baker, YOU were the SUPER DUPER!
Sincerely,
Lynne Neuser-Ferencak

Dr Baker was my dentist, for me and the other 9 members of our family. He was a kind, gentle and generous man. Above all he was greatly responsible for me becoming a dentist myself. He always made time to chat, catch up and mentor me whenever I returned home from college, dental school and later military service. He was my professional role model. Rest In Peace.

Saddened to hear of Dr Baker's passing. David remembers walking from Whittier School to his appointments with Dr Baker on Sylvania Ave after school. Enjoyed looking at all his "decorations" while sitting in his dental chair. His family is in our thoughts.

Dr. Baker was the dentist to our family of 7 for many years. He made going to the dentist very easy with his humor. Our family continues visiting the Baker family dentistry through his son Roger. Sr will be missed very much, but Roger Jr has many of his dad's traits. Doc will never be forgotten.
