To My Dear Cousins, Linda, Pam, Claudia,

We all know that though our loved ones are no longer with us, they have only gone on ahead of us and will wait for us. My heart goes out to all of you during this time of grieving but we find comfort in knowing that our loved ones are safe and well taken care of and we shall see them again. Since Uncle Manuel's passing I have thought of all the memories we share living next to each other and going to Trilby school. I also remember the days when we spent our summers playing outdoors together and the times when Uncle Manuel showed us his art projects that he was working on. I was so impressed! I have many good memories of your dad and it was a comfort knowing that your family lived right next door to ours. Back then I took it for granted but now I know that it was a special treasure. My love to you all. Kathie

My condolences to my cousins Linda, Pam and Claudia. It is with much sadness that I hear of my Uncle Manuel's passing. He was a good man whom all of us Ormiston kids have fond memories of. We'll never forget his warm and welcoming attitude toward us and his desire to teach us things and show us his artwork. I wish Uncle Manuel and I could have shared our love of photography more. Along with this, we'll always remember being neighbors and seeing all of you on a daily basis. You all were family to us and we'll certainly miss our uncle, the last of the "famous four" parents.

We raised our family in the same neighborhood as Manuel and have some great and fond memories. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the memorial homegoing service for him. Now and in the days ahead, may Jesus our God of comfort hold you all in the palm of His hand as you remember and celebrate his life legacy. He will not be forgotten in the hearts of all who knew him. 'Precious Lord, take my hand...lead me home'.

What a wonderful life Manuel lived, filled with love of his God Jehovah, his family, and of the beauty in life. His acts of kindness to the brotherhood are well remembered and are an encouragement to this day. His legacy includes his three loving daughters, who carry on with a heritage of love, ,spirituality, and good works. Well for us if we had the record of love and good works t hat our dear Brother Mayo established. We look forward to seeing him in the resurrection of the righteous ones.
