Lois Ann (Gault) Adams Holmes

Lois A.  Adams Holmes, age 91, passed away, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Franciscan Care Center.  She was born in Kenton, Ohio May 14, 1924 to Inez (Baker) and Clyde R. Gault.  She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1946 and was a life member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.  She was a 50 year member of the Auxiliary of Joseph W. Diehn Post #468 and was a member of Sylvania United Church of Christ for over 50 years. Lois enjoyed golfing, bowling, bridge and a good game of pinochle.

She was the widow of first husband Robert F. Adams who passed away August 1990, 25 years and one day prior to Lois and second husband Arthur Jack Holmes.                     

She is survived by her loving family, daughter Janet ( Ron) Tucker, son, Edwin (Linda) Adams, grandchildren Scott (Monique), Shannon, Danielle (Brandon), Sarah, Rachael ,Carol Sue, and  Ryan (Lynn), 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and sister-in-law Mary Lou (Jerry) Miller.   

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main St., Sylvania, on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M.  Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  The family suggests tributes in the form of contributions to Breast Cancer Society or Franciscan Care Center.
