Linda Denise (Ducy) Luchansky
August 27, 1953 ~ May 15, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years OldLinda D. Luchansky, 63, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Inpatient Unit. Linda was born August 27, 1953, in Toledo, to parents Harry and Kitty (Larzelere) Ducy.
She was employed for many years at The Toledo Hospital and most recently was employed at the University of Michigan Hospital, until her retirement. Linda dedicated her time to the Race for the Cure events for many years. She was a fiercely loyal fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines. So much so she volunteered to work in the press box on game day to get closer to the action on the field. Since retirement, she loved time spent with her grandsons. After their visits, she would always say, in parting “Always remember that I love you to the moon and back”.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of more than 40 years, John Luchansky, Jr.; son Matthew (Tami) Luchansky; grandsons Nolan and Evan; mother Kitty Ducy; sisters Mary (Paul) Wisnofske and Nancy (Dan) Nieman; brother Terry (Debbie) Ducy; God Daughter Rachel Baughman; God Son Jonathan Nieman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday, May 25th from 4 – 9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday May 26th at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 AM.
