Joyce Marilyn (Hageman) Wannemacher

Joyce M. Wannemacher, 86, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, due to complications of Alzheimer’s. She was born, in Toledo, to parents Homer and Caryl (Armstrong) Hageman.

Joyce loved to travel, enjoyed her flower beds, and baking, especially cookies her family. Along with sewing clothes for family she also designed and made several quilts for Paul Newman’s Camp Boggy Creek for children.   

She is survived by her children Susan Stafford, Martin (Bobbie) Stafford, and Rebecca (Ken Schmenk) Schultz, Jennifer Kromenacker; grandchildren David Waite II, Jocelyn Forrester, Steven Bamberger, and Melody, Nikki, and Jacob Kromenacker; great-grandsons Trey Forrester and Alexander Waite. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; spouses Robert Schultz and Harry Wannemacher, sister Attalie Hoyt; and son in law George Bamberger.

Joyce’s life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday, June 23rd at 1 PM, where family and friends may gather one – hour prior.

Joyce’s family would like to thank the staff of the NWO Hospice Inpatient Unit, Toledo, for their loving care and support during this time.
