John E Powell

John “Jack” Eugene Powell, 81 of Strongsville, Ohio, formally of Toledo, OH passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Falling Water Health Center surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Toledo, to Montgomery and Marguerite (Stahl) Powell.  Jack married Marge Smith on March 11, 1968 and together they raised their daughter, Teena.  He was a veteran in the US Air Force and was a licensed recreational pilot.  Jack retired from Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, Ohio in 2002 after 38 years.  He loved sailing, his country, but above all else, his family.  Jack was a classic car enthusiast and was especially proud of his 1989 Mustang.  Jack is survived by his loving wife, Marge, daughter, Teena and son-in-law Mike Smolik, grandchildren, Mike, Drew and AJ Smolik.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Family and friends may visit at the Reeb Funeral Home, Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. when the funeral service will begin.  Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the   Michael J.
