My wife and I moved in across the street from Rolland and Sherri in 1973. Our children and their children grew up together.
My youngest daughter became a member of Rainbow Girls thanks to Rollie. She was not supposed to be a member, because she is black. Shari and Rollie knew here from the time she arrived with our family, and Rollie took it up the ladder, he convinced the leadership it was time to change, and that change I have been told has spread far and wide.
John Roland Pierce can claim credit for the change, for making my daughter the first black member of Rainbow girls.
That is one of the many memories I have, and now we are getting old. Let our children remember them.

Deepest sympathy. Rollie was a true Eastern Star. We enjoyed our years of friendship and eastern star service with Rollie and Shari.

Tom has been sick lately, so we cannot make the Masonic Services...we are very sorry to the family for their loss. He was a great man to know!
