Dear Lennie- Here it is, 8 weeks to the day of my Dad's passing, and I just came back to read the guest book postings again. I have no idea if you'll see this reply, but I was so touched to hear from you after all this time. It seems like forever ago that we worked together, (I think you were 20 & I was 15; wink, wink!) and I, too, have such fond memories of the fortunate experience I had to work with you and the Kidney Foundation. I truly hope you and your loved ones have made lots of sweet memories over the years. If I'd looked into a crystal ball when I first knew you and saw where my life was going to take me, I might not have believed I'd end up in Georgia married to "Bubba", but here I am:) It's been an adventure, for sure! Thank you again for reaching out & letting me know how much you care, Lennie. All the best to you:)

To the Garn Family; I am so sorry to read about the passing of your dear brother, John, and I regret that I was not able to send my condolences sooner, but I was in the V.A. Hospital here in NYC for 28 days, and did not have access to a computer. I remember John as a 1956 graduate of Perrysburg H.S., and as a member of an extraordinary family. He was part of the Garn family reputation of public service, and it shows! May he rest in peace for now his is with his Savior, and his Creator.

Dear Mary Kay -
I am very sorry about John's passing, and so suddenly! I send my sincere condolences.
I had planned to come to the visitation and/or the Mass on Saturday, but I have come down with a bad cold and cough and am feeling lousy. I am sorry I can't make it to the funeral, but please accept my sympathy.

I am sorry about the loss of your husband and father. May you find comfort from your memories of him. Words cannot express the pain you may feel at this time. But know that, the God of all comfort is near those brokenhearted and that He cares for you. Psalms 34:18 and 1 Peter 5:7 May your hearts find peace and comfort at this difficult time.
