Hi Linda, I hope you remember me, we worked together at Toledo Hospital. I also cared for your Mother and Father in law ,played hook the fish game with Mr. Lemle. I have thought of you often, way before you Husband's passing. Know I also saw the Love you all had for each other, by your actions! God Bless you and your Family, my Prayers are with you!

Just today I learned of Gene's passing. Even though our paths rarely crossed, when I thought they might, especially as fellow Taylorcraft lovers and with men who loved the air, I always looked to see if Gene was present. I knew Gene to be a good man. A very giving, gentle man with a warm heart, a ready smile and a welcoming hello. A man who made you feel welcome and comfortable in his presence. A man who loved his family, his friends and a man you could depend on. I am so very truly saddened to see this good man taken way too soon.

Prayers for comfort to Gene's family and friends. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, but am blessed to know his daughter, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He and his lovely wife have a legacy in the loving family that carries on a joy for life, a love of others, and a kind heart. Peace to you.

To Sarah, Mark, Wesley, and the entire Lemle family. Your father, grandfather, husband, and friend, sounded like a wonderful man with a passion for his family, his hobbies, and living life to the fullest. I'm so sorry for your loss but happy that the great memories you have will be remembered and cherished forever. With deepest sympathy, Cindy Buchan (co-worker, UT Foundation).
