Hi Linda, I hope you remember me, we worked together at Toledo Hospital. I also cared for your Mother and Father in law ,played hook the fish game with Mr. Lemle. Just today I learned of Gene's passing. Even though our paths rarely crossed, when I thought they might, especially as fellow Taylorcraft lovers and with men who loved the air, I always looked to see if Gene was present. I knew Gene to be a good man. A very giving, gentle man with a warm heart, a ready smile and a welcoming hello. A man who made you feel welcome and comfortable in his presence. A man who loved his family, his friends and a man you could depend on. I am so very truly saddened to see this good man taken way too soon.

Prayers for comfort to Gene's family and friends. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, but am blessed to know his daughter, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
