Dorothy Ruth (Luckhardt) Rhoades

Dorothy “Dot” Rhoades, 84 of Ottawa Lake, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH.

Dorothy was born on March 23, 1933 in Ann Arbor, MI to Paul and Ruth Luckhardt.  She married Eldean Rhoades (Deceased Sept 28, 1991) and raised three children.  She was a baker for Sautters in Sylvania, Ohio.

She is survived by her sons: Arthur (Patsy) Rhoades and Calvin Rhoades; daughter Bonnie Rhoades Case; sister Martha Carr; and brothers Edwin, Harold and Neil Luckhardt; grandchildren; Audrey (Scott) Rochowiak, Adam (Kaitlin) Rhoades, Andrew Rhoades and great-grandchild; Landon Rochowiak and many extended relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be a private ceremony and burial with immediate family at Whiteford Union Cemetery where she will rest with her husband, Eldean.

A memorial service in Dorothy’s honor will be at the Rhoades Farm; 11224 South County Line Road, Ottawa Lake, MI on Saturday, April 28, from 2-8:00 P.M. for who would like to pay their respects.
