The first word to come to mind when describing Aunt Carmen is strength; a woman of courage, commitment, and resilience. Although she suffered painful losses from the tragic deaths of her father, brother and uncle to being the last living child of her siblings to losing her soul mate in January she did not waiver from her course to maintain a position of strength and resolve. I never heard her lament about the trials of living but witnessed her taking a stand to carry on and maintain. Somewhere there is a message here for us all and considering she is the last of her generation we may be wise to embrace her approach to life for I believe we could learn and benefit from it.

Sorry for your loss. In time you will celebrate her life instead of mourning the loss.
And the cycle is complete as her body returns from which it came.
