Bill J. Liggett, 85, of Sylvania, OH, went home to the Lord, Monday morning, February 12, 2018, while under hospice care.
Bill was born in Toledo, January 12, 1933, to parents Albert A. and Nellie L. (Kurth) Liggett. He was employed for more than 35 years with Toledo Edison, until retiring in 1978. Bill was a long and active member of the Compelled Church where he served on the Board of Directors. He loved the out of doors. Bill enjoyed working in his yard, camping with his whole family, fishing, and reading his Bible. He was a former member of the Boaz Lodge, F&AM.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Ann (Norman) Liggett; children Albert (Barb) and Randy (Cindy) Liggett, Sandy (Chris) Westfall, Barb (Pedro) Farias, Nick (Anita) Liggett, Michael (Denise), Charles (Cecelia), and Harold (Kim) Yarnell, Jeri (John) Colvin, Ronald (Linda), and David Shutt, James Hoffmann, and Marie (Tim) Lundy; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sister Donna Wagner; and faithful K-9 companion Bandit. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Juanita Wilson.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Sunday, February 18th from 3 – 8 PM. The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Monday the 19th at Compelled Church, at 11:00 A.M.with Pastors Nate Elarton and Rick Flood officiating. Bill will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.

Bill Liggett was a good and honest man, the world is a better place because of him. He will be missed!
